Liquids, Gels and Airplanes

It was a sad day when I had to toss my cute, little toiletry kit to the curb. My new travel kit has been reduced to a quart-size ziplock plastic bag. Everything goes in it, including the liquids, gels, creams, which are all in containers of three ounces or less. Any liquid or gel larger then three ounces can go in your checked luggage. If you're like me, and don't like to check your luggage, for fear that the airline might loose it, move your favorite products into 3 oz containers. Otherwise, you can kiss your Bumble and Bumble goodbye at airport checkpoint.
Withn my quart size ziplock bag, I keep a smaller sandwhich size bag for items I might need in flight such as lip balm, skin moisturizer, ear plugs, Tylenol, Airborne and maybe even a couple of airplane bottles- Hey!- they're less then 3 oz. and If it's going to be a long flight, why not get comfortable, make yourself at home? Let the Pilot take over!
